Camp de Rêves Glampsite (Guernsey French for Field of Dreams) is set in one of the most beautiful parts of the Island, boasting fabulous panoramic west coast sea views and stunning sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean.
The fields surrounding Camp de Rêves are home to numerous different species of birds, both local and migrating, from little egrets to marsh harriers which come to feed on the abundant flora and fauna in the protected Ramsar area.
Within ten minutes you can walk to the sheltered bays perfect for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding and beach combing!
If you prefer to stay home for the day why not just unwind on your private deck overlooking the views whilst the children play in the outdoor play area, games room or adjoining fields.
Camp de Rêves is the perfect base for a relaxing or activity holiday and with just five tents on a three acre site, it is a peaceful and calm retreat.
There are five Safari Cottage Glamping tents on site. Each sleeps up to 6 adults and has a bathroom, shower, kitchen, lounge, private deck, garden and a secret children’s den!
Shepherd Hut Amenities:
There are two luxurious Shepherd Huts nestled within the pine trees on the lower field. The huts sleep 2 adults and each have a bathroom, shower, kitchen, log burner and a large private deck.
To Do Nearby:
In less than a ten minute walk you will arrive at a ‘blue flag’ swimming beach with lovely cafe’s, restaurants and bars scattered along the coastline.
There is so much to see and do on our beautiful island that we would love to share with you to help forget the stresses of busy everyday life.
Sustainability and environmental protection have an increasing importance in our lives, and our glampsite has been carefully constructed with wildlife and nature in mind, from our energy and water conservation to supporting wildlife with wildflower planting and indigenous plants and trees, we have created a low-impact carbon footprint holiday whilst maintaining an element of luxury.
We aim to provide families with an escape, giving them the opportunity to engage with nature and get children playing outside in the fresh air!
There are lots of exciting and diverse outdoor activities on your doorstep such as hiking, kayaking, surfing and cycling. All of which require a fair bit of physical exertion, getting back to your cosy tent after a day of outdoor activities will be a welcome relief!
Wishing you a happy, unique and memorable holiday.
Love Danny, Jane and Chilli Dawg x
