Indulge in the serenity of our adult-only area, where three exquisite handmade huts, Wren, Peregrine, and Curlew, await you.
Nestled among pine trees on the lower field, these luxurious huts boast panoramic views from Rocquaine Bay to Lihou Island, each one with a unique vantage point to unwind and witness the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean.
The famously comfortable double bed, complemented by a large window at the foot, invites you to observe playful rabbits in the field and gaze down to the ocean below.
The huts are fully equipped with fresh linen, towels, cutlery, and crockery. The kitchen features an oven and fridge/freezer for your culinary needs. Relax on the sofa or in the dining area.
The ensuite bathroom is complete with a shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
Embrace the cosy ambiance with a log burning stove and radiator. Crafted with precision by Dicky Dean in his workshop near Lewes, East Sussex, these huts are insulated with local sheep wool and adorned with sustainably sourced oak from the UK.
Step onto your private deck with a picnic table and enjoy the sea views while cooking on the BBQ that’s provided.

Shepherd Hut appliances & accessories:
Two ring hob, oven, BBQ, fridge with freezer section, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, frying pan, sauce pans, wine glasses and tumbler glasses etc.
Tea, coffee and sugar sachets provided together with salt and pepper mills and spray oil. Hand soap, washing up liquid, and cleaning equipment also provided. Hairdryer, blankets, log burner & logs, radiator, playing cards, binoculars, boules set and outside bbq with picnic table and chairs.
Fresh bed linen and towels are supplied weekly and beach towels are available upon request. We have a small shop in the oak frame barn, selling a few basic items such as bread, butter, milk, condiments, crisps and biscuits.

Site Facilities:

Other than your own personal garden there is also a communal bbq area complete with wood fired cooking fire pit and wood fired pizza oven and petanque pitch. Also a large field adjacent to the tents for ball games and exploring.
The Barn:
- Games room with table tennis, table football, board games, reading and colouring books.
- 24hr toilet and shower room
- Small locally supplied grocery shop which stocks general provisions such as milk, bread, tea, coffee, eggs and bacon etc.
- Washing machine, tumble dryer and iron/ironing board.
- If all five tents and three shepherd huts are booked by the same party the Barn’s large interior can be made available for ancillary use such as meetings, classes, seminars, etc.
Other:
- Ample safe car parking and 1 electric car charging point.
- Facilities on site for storing luggage for those who are arriving early or departing late
- The owners are on site for most of the day and if not they are contactable and live only a short distance away
- No dogs allowed – sorry!
- Strictly no smoking in the shepherd huts or games room
