We had a fantastic weekend staying in one of the Shepherd Huts. It was very spacious with great amenities and the log burner was a particular favourite! The setting was so quiet and peaceful, resulting in a very relaxing weekend. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location and well stocked hut. Site layout is well planned so that no two huts or tents overlook each other. Felt very isolated and peaceful, with lovely views over the bay. Hut was excellent, with very comfy double bed at one end, with shower room and toilet at the other. In between well stocked kitchen with everything necessary. Could eat indoors or outdoors depending on weather, with wood burning stove if colder . Didn’t use this as it was unseasonably hot when we were there in October (more like the Mediterranean). Perfect for romantic couples, or just for meeting up with friends as we did. I will definitely be back. Loved it.

Best family break - look no further! You wake up overlooking fields and the sea. There are 2 master beds (one room is above a small kids den) and another room with 2 bunk beds. Living room (with a brilliant view), dining table, toilet/ shower and kitchenette complete this power packed hut! The deck has a gas barbecue too! All manuals provided within the tent. Wifi is really good across the glampsite and you could easily work if required! The entire glampsite is meticulously designed with efficiency at its core! There is a communal area where you can bake a pizza and also light a fire pit with your group! Also, there is a communal toilet and games room. Parking area also provided.

This has to be, hands down, one of the most intelligently crafted hut with the best possible view! You wake up overlooking farms and the sea, now that’s what you call exquisite! The hut is very considerately retrofitted with all essentials like cutlery, cleaning material and also, the most important, a cork screw!!! The entire campsite is meticulously designed with efficiency at its core! There is a communal area where you can bake a pizza and also light a fire pit with your group! Also, there is a communal toilet and games room. Parking area also provided. Would highly recommend the campsite and the owners are very helpful and would try their utmost to accommodate all your requests (within reason) and patiently respond to all your questions!!!

What a find this was! We stayed in a glamping tent with two daughters aged 6 and 10. The whole place was set up perfectly with everything you could want and more. The girls loved sleeping in the hideaway loft bed, which was so cosy (and like having their own private cubby house). Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, including the views (and sunsets), which were spectacular. This sets the glamping bar so high. It's the only way I want to camp from now on!

Peregrine Shepherd’s Hut was the most beautiful retreat, equipped with everything anyone could possibly need! The attention to detail was stunning and the peace of the beautiful area aided two exceptional nights of sleep! A long weekend at Camps de Reves felt like a week off the hamster wheel and I cannot recommend it highly enough! My husband and I cannot wait to book in again! On arrival through the gates you a met with such a clean, tidy view and mother nature at her best! Relax mode was activated on arrival. The whole site is immaculate but planted to look like mother nature has created a small peace of paradise in Guernsey. We selected the Safari tent option (selection of tent vs hut was tough) and we were not disappointed. Everything you think you will need is there and extras that you didnt realise would be useful are all supplied, making this so stress free! The beds were delighful, towels soft and fluffy - the blankets allow you to sit on the veranda and just feast on the view..... this should be prescribed by your Doctor to engage relax mode, reduce blood pressure and just allow your head to stroll through relaxing thoughts whilst enjoying a Gin and Tonic! This you can do as there is a great sized fridge. All through the stay I couldnt stop grinning. So why stay here - you have the luxury of modern life, without the fuss and stress of modern life, these tents are fully kitted out with everything you need to be comfortable but get your camping fix ie WiFi is there if needed. You can opt for car or use the bus - but either way you can be as busy as you need to be and feel like you are the only one of site. But if you wish to connect there is an excellent fire pit, pizza oven and delightful communal outdoor dining area. Here there is space to reconnect, relax, and refresh our soles and recharge ready to get back on track after a great holiday and to plan your return trip. This is an ideal holiday venue for both singles, couples and families - the beach, the restaurants as well as the location feed your sole!

Everything is provided for and everything is exceptional quality. we just felt so spoilt. Gorgeous tents, grounds and location. Comfy and warm beds, very clean and beautifully maintained. And all the little added extras that make you feel welcomed… plenty of wood for the pizza oven, costumes for the kids on the pirate ship, Tupperware boxes for food, brilliant binoculars to see the view and wildlife. Warm welcome and friendly staff who were genuinely pleased to help and have you stay. We had the most amazing weather and sunset views - but felt even if it had been raining we would still have enjoyed the tents and the barn because of how well they have been set up. Thank you for making us feel so spoilt.

What a beautiful location, so peaceful and private, the tents are fabulous, home from home, spent 2 nights with girlfriends, rained 1 of the nights but it just didn’t matter, we BBQ’d both nights, the tent was so well equipped with everything we needed, the private bathroom is such a luxury, electricity, hot water, duvets, warm throws, it was all there. I would just say that you need to be fit to get into the top bunk and the cabin bed as the ladders are fixed and straight, so just a bit of agility needed. We had swims at the nearby beautiful bays, strolls in the surrounding lanes and lunch in the reasonable priced Guernsey Pearl restaurant. There was a free laundry room to dry out beach towels. We will definitely return, the Hosts, Jane, Dan and Jane’s Son were so helpful.

An amazing glamping site in an amazing location run by amazing hosts. The glamping tent we stayed in had a shower, toilet, well stocked kitchen area, decking out front with a BBQ, decent WiFi and all very clean. Onsite there is a play area for young kids, a games room, a laundry room included in the cost, an honesty shop, a communal outdoor area with gas and wood fired pizza ovens, plus an additional shower/toilet in the reception block. The site is very quiet, the hosts intentionally have a limited number of tents to keep the numbers down which is great for those who prefer a quiet getaway. It’s located in an area with beautiful views, a short walk from the seafront, and a good curry house within 15-20min walk. Honestly better than the hotels we stayed in during our 10 days on the island. Highly recommend!

What a magical place. We had the most wonderful time and it exceeded all our expectations! Our toddler loved the pirate ship, the pizza oven and the "fire", where we cooked our sausages. The place had everything we needed and the most friendly people running it. The Gardner Ross was so kind and helpful. We visited so many beaches, had the best weather and enjoyed the stunning sunsets every evening. It is a holiday we won't forget and will be back again soon. Thank you so much!

After our third year running at the Camp de Rêves we’re running out of superlatives, but we hope the fact that we’ve already booked for our fourth stay in 2024 speaks for itself! When we first stayed at the site in 2020, Danny and Jane seemed to have thought of everything but each year new and exciting touches are added and the shepherd’s huts, safari tents and the many other facilities the site has to offer work perfectly for our extended family of grandparents, parents and children aged 4–9. Nothing is too much trouble for whoever is on hand to help with anything, large or small, and we can't thank everyone at the Camp de Rêves enough for giving us all the most wonderful and memorable annual family holidays.

You will not be disappointed! My sister and I took our girls who are 10, 9 and 6. The kids rated it as the best holiday ever and happy kids mean happy mums. Beds were really comfortable and the tents had everything (and I mean everything) you need, well laundered bedding, Weber bbq, nice crockery, great size fridge. The communal cooking area was a real touch. We had friends on the island so went to theirs for dinner and were disappointed we didn’t get to use the full facilities - never been unhappy to not have to cook before! The kids roamed free using the football pitch, play park etc. we played games, boules, cards, a good old fashioned holiday but with creature comforts of a luxury break. Views are amazing. We regularly holiday in Ibiza and the sunsets here are as good as any. Lovely hosts who deserve to see their business thrive as they really have thought of everything. We will be back

As a family of four, the safari tent was well designed and an ideal location as a base to discover Guernsey. Jane, Danny and their family made us feel so welcome and their warmth and hospitality certainly helped during our stay. We stayed during a time of heavy wind and rain. Although the weather prevented the opportunity to experience the outdoor pizza dining, it was very well prepared and set up. Camp de Reves has everything required to welcome you to the island, rain or shine.

My family recently enjoyed a week at Camp de Rêves, staying in their Rocquaine safari tent. It was a wonderful holiday in a place that has been turned into an eco-paradise by Danny, Jane and their crew. It's a great base for exploring the island, which we did on e-bikes hired from the nearby Go Guernsey activity company. The glamping site provides everything you could wish for, with pizza ovens, gas BBQs, games room, boules court, shop and laundrette. The experience is greatly enhanced by the helpfulness of the team, for whom nothing is too much. Strongly recommended for families of all ages!

The site is on a beautiful hill side overlooking a bay and very thoughtfully landscaped with native trees and plants. The shepherd hut area is spacious, but the huts themselves are cleverly tucked away by use of trees and plants with a lovely view over the sea. The hut is so well furnished with lots of lovely attention to detail, the deck is a great place to watch the surrounding wildlife like marsh harriers and butterflies. Its a short walk to the coast for visiting the beach or the coast path. A great place to stay!

Truly a dream resort. Everything was perfect all round: lovely site, scenery, and view from the hut; the hut was snug, comfortable and well-equipped; the staff and management (Jane and her daughter) were pleasant and helpful. Camp de Rêves entirely lives up to its name. We had to cut short our stay and return to France on an earlier sailing because of dangerous weather conditions. This meant losing a whole day and night, plus, potentially a slice of our money paid upfront. Thank you, Jane, for coming to an agreement - une entente cordiale - on a refund acceptable to all parties.

I literally haven’t ever enjoyed a few days away (in a “tent”) so much. Your set up is brilliant and so well thought out - absolutely everything one could possibly need. Your attention to detail is second to none. What you have created at Camp de Reves is a triumph. I was so impressed with the design, the layout, it’s genius - and the quality of everything - even the knives were sharp and the fairy lights in the little downstairs den kept my son very entertained 🙂 A treasure chest full of toys, in the already amazing playground, more toys and the farmyard in the games room - everything went the extra mile and it was hugely appreciated by us all. Not to mention the pizza ovens and fantastic communal dining area. The beds were so comfortable, the linen and everything else was immaculate - every second we stayed with you was perfect. The water is hot, the shower is a proper shower - to be honest no part of it really feels like camping - except you get all the benefits and pleasure of sleeping under canvas. The only thing we would have enjoyed is the possibility of a small fire pit with the tents but no doubt you have considered that and decided against it for good reason. Thank you so very much - we left well rested, refreshed and totally inspired. Will 100% be back!! If we can get a booking!

I spent a long weekend at the glampsite when we had force 5 or 6 gales. You would think that would be a disaster for a break but it was lovely. The hut was luxurious, snug, warm and quiet. The views were stupendous - every second the view changed as the tides, wind, and clouds gave way to the sun. It was quiet, serene and breath taking. A glorious way to wind down - thank you. I forgot to pack a few things but they were almost all covered. Plus a few things I did not think to bring - like a hair drier, every cooking utensil under the sun, and a supply of tea and coffee making supplies with proper Guernsey milk. I guess shower gel would have been useful but that is being very picky. I had a great time and would love to return.

Stayed in Curlew Shepherd Hut last week and what an absolutely fantastic place, loved it. You walk through the site which is beautifully landscaped and thoughtfully planted with cottage garden flowers providing a stunning display and then to your hut, secluded therein with the most fantastic view of the west coast. The huts themselves are a nice size, cosy bed and with everything in that you could want or need for a perfect stay. Lovely outside seating which in beautiful weather makes it even more comfortable, we spent all weekend enjoying the view, the facilities and the wonderful lanes surrounding the area. We will be back.

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! We stayed in the Peregrine shepherd hut for 4 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful views of the sea, amazing sunsets, comfy bed, kitchen set up with everything you needed, lovely little terrace and garden to sit in the sun and enjoy a BBQ. It really was perfect. We recently stayed in one of the safari tents with our three young children aged 2, 3 and 7. The tent was so well equipped and had everything we could have possibly needed, and it was clean and cosy. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather and had very strong winds during our stay, but thanks to the wooden partisans inside the tent we were shielded from most of the wind. Jane and Danny went above and beyond our expectations during our stay, we couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend Camp de Reves, and hope to come back again. Guernsey is a great holiday destination with kids, there is so much exploring to do and beauty to be seen.

Everything about the huts has been thought through to make it a fab experience - fridge size, draining for washing up, bathroom, recycling, folding of towels/placement of pans/cutlery, easy to use logs for the burner, radiator, dining table, outside area ……can’t express how thoughtful it all was and how the cosy space was so easy to use. Also the little stool to boost us to the bed! The separate entrances to each hut are another excellent point cause you feel away from it all - a proper holiday even though still on Guernsey. The only other place on island that I have found that has that feel has been the fermain loophole tower. Thanks again for a lovely stay. And hopefully we can fit it another stay this year.

We visited Camp de Reves not knowing what to expect but excited about the pictures we saw on the website and we must say the pictures don't really do justice to the place. We were really impressed with the infrastructure and the kids especially loved the room 'upstairs' and the playroom. We felt the tent was really designed with families in mind and it felt like a home away from home. We were 4 adults and 2 children and the tent didn't feel crowded in any way. It was warm with the electric heaters and cozy. We didn't want to leave at the end of our stay and the kids keep asking when we are coming back as they enjoyed playing at the outdoor play area as well. The views from the lounge were also really stunning and having visited after a couple of stressful months at work, we the adults felt relieved and energised going back into work. We also took the opportunity to visit Lihou island which is in close proximity. We can't wait to return again for another visit.

We had the most wonderful stay at Camp de Revés, everything was just perfect. The small little touches for example, milk in the fridge the little card, proceso, chocolates and the coffee sachets etc just make it so special. We stayed for 2 nights in October 2022 and thought the tents and facilities were 5 star. The games room was really fun and our son loved his king size bed with the doors which he and his friend slept in for 1 of the nights. A really relaxing break with a difference. We cycled and went for a morning swim at L'Eree at high tide. Great views, lots of space for each tent and a wonderful setting. Danny and Jane really looked after us and accommodated all of our needs. We will definitely be back for another stay

The team are so helpful and friendly. There is a true island element of trust and relaxation, allowing guests the independence to enjoy their time there without being watched over. The facilities and views are 5 star and there is even a new addition of the pirate ship for children to play on. The Safari Tents have all of your home comforts including hot water, a kitchenette and huge beds - perfect for those who don’t find traditional camping particularly appealing. Would recommend Camp de Reves to everyone!

Another unbeatable week at Le Camp des Reves, the perfect location for a perfect whole-family holiday; two sets of grandparents happily tucked away in the secluded shepherd's huts with their terraces overlooking the finest view in Guernsey, and three families loving the space and facilities of the safari tents. Everyone could come together for family meals, either at the newly-refurbished seating area with its gas-fired pizza oven - 15 pizzas cooked from scratch in no time - or in the spacious area around each tent. Hi, We had a wonderful few days staying in Wren, most relaxing and very quiet. The hut is very well appointed and all you need is there, well maintained and the grounds are super. Excellent and should be promoted more by visit Guernsey, but then if it was to grow much bigger it might have the adverse effect in becoming too big and lose it’s appeal. Well done both of you. We have had THE BEST week here at Camp de Reves. Our hut Curlew exceeded our expectations - stunning views, super comfy bed, clean & stylish. Danny & Jane were responsive and helpful. Top tip from Danny = Forest Stores - we bought some delicious home cooked frozenmeals from there. Places we visited: Vazon, Ptit Bot, Fermain beaches, Jerbourg point, German Occupation Museum, Sark. It would be hard to think of a more perfect holiday than Camp de Reves. We spotted it during the dark lockdown times and so looked forward to it. Having recently retired as put up your own tent campers, but still wanting out door life, Portelet Tent was perfect. Super comfy, super stylish, breathtaking views. We have kayaked and paddle boarded at the beautiful (and so close) Petit Bot, Coastered, swam at Fermain Bay, dipped in Venus Pool on Sark (awesome) and jumped off the breakwater at Portelet all week. I’d recommend the Tides Near Me app to other campers. The food at Octopus was wonderful. And still there are so many things we didn’t have time for. We shall save those for next time. A big thank you for creating this lovely place. Also great wi-fi, thank you from the teenagers 🙂

Dear Jane and Dan, What can I say apart from thank you!!! From the very start to the end I was made to feel so welcome and at home. The ethos of this stunning glampsite inspires me and is infectious. My hut, Curlew had the most extraordinary views! The bed with its luxurious bedding was so comfortable. The care and detail made things so much easier and I love the space saving, beautifully co-ordinated items included. Who knew I could get excited by a kitchen drainer! This glampsite respects its surroundings and it was a privilege to be surrounded by nature. It was my longest solo holiday and I will definitely come again.

7 girls here for our 30th birthday celebrations - thank you for an amazing stay! We love the tents (Rocquaine and Portelet)- wonderfully set up and all the details well thought out. The pizza oven and fire pit were brilliant - best pizzas we've had! A notable highlight was climbing into bed with the wonderful smelling sheets from the washing conditioner (p.s we are definitely all getting old!!). I was lucky enough to be surprised with an overnight stay in one of the shepherds huts for valentines . I was a bit apprehensive about going to sleep outside in the middle of February . I was so surprised at how cosy and magical it actually was . It’s was so warm with the log burner going . The facilities were outstanding and can’t wait to re visit in the summer . Finally after years of searching we’ve found the perfect place for an extended family to get together for a holiday in Guernsey! The new shepherd huts meant that hiring the whole site provided ideal, safe and flexible accommodation and brilliant facilities which met the needs of all three generations. Danny and Jane are such thoughtful and generous hosts – thanks to their helpful tips the pizza oven provided delicious homemade pizzas for 21 - and they couldn’t have done more to ensure that we all had an amazing time.

Camp des Rêves is by far the best glamping location that we’ve ever stayed in (and we’ve been to a few!). We absolutely loved every minute of it and wished that they’d had more availability because we would have liked to stay longer than the four nights that were possible. The tents are amazing – particularly if you have kids – with one rooms with bunk beds and another double bed up a ladder. The children loved it. They also loved the playground just seconds away and the field to investigate and play in, all without crossing or going near a road. The whole site is immaculate. The view, particularly in the evening, was breath-taking and a wonderful backdrop to dinner. Danny and Jane are fantastic and friendly hosts. There is nothing at all that we’d change. We will be back!

We had an amazing time at your fabulous glamping site. Although we had seen photographs before we arrived we were still wowed by the views over the West Coast. The facilities were perfect, everything so well thought out and immaculately clean. Our beds were sooooooo comfortable, we all commented on them. My son loved his secret bedroom and we all slept well whilst staying even in rather breezy conditions! There are so many thoughtful extras, the cosy blankets for the chilly evenings, the pack of cards, the hoola hoops and the binoculars! I loved Camp de Reves i liked sleeping on the bed that you had to climb to and enjoyed the playground and jumping off the swings and falling off the tight rope.
